So we have a bowl full of mashed "aligator pear" as some people like to call them, ready to go, and a bowl of oat... OK, OK, I'll cut to the chase.
Giving Riley some mashed avocado went over like a fart in church.

Seriously.
He despised them. We then tried to be sneaky and mix some in with his cereal. That was almost as bad as giving him straight up 'cado. He wouldn't even take untainted cereal. Tears, wailing, you name it. He wanted no part of this unholy 'mole... from his dad. Or the spoon.
After giving him some formula, Alison finally was able to get him to eat cereal with some of the green horror mixed into, by letting him chomp it off her finger. Now, some of you might be thinking "eww, gross off of her finger??" But if it works, it works.
I can't wait until we try to feed him some really gross stuff like pineapple glazed ham , veal and chicken lasagna .
